Coppell made the long trek to Denton Braswell where they won their match in four sets. Although they lost the first set, they switched to a different lineup and adapted well. On top of that, they were able to shut down the Bengal’s offensive players by making many blocks. Finley Penniman had exceptional blocking and attacking percentages leading the team in both. She had 12 kills and 5 blocks. Brooke Felix had 12 kills and 10 digs.
