The Cowboys competed in one the oldest and most competitive basketball tournaments in the state over the holiday break. With some the best teams in state participating the Cowboys managed to go 1-2 in the tournament. They lost to #1 ranked Stony Point and Highland Park and bounced back to defeat Dickinson on the final day. Ethan Macken and Gabe Pehl wearing leading scorers during the weekend. The Tournament Championship was between #1 Stony Point and district opponent #2 Plano East with East winning and being named the #1 ranked team in state.
