The Varsity Red Team of Max Scott, Sam Perkins, Ashmit Aggarwal, Rishab Shroff and Beckam Sanguras placed 9th out of 22 teams this past Monday and Tuesday at the Lake Travis Shootout held at the historic Morris Williams Golf Course in Austin. The team turned in a two-day score of 617 (311, 306) and were led by Max Scott who shot a 78 in round 1 and bounced back with an even par 72 on day 2, finishing 28th out of 111 golfers. The team from Lake Travis won the tournament, defeating defending state champion Austin Westlake.
