Julianna LaMendola and Waverley Hassman led the way with excellent for cuts inside the paint versus a tall Flower Mound team, giving the Cowgirls more points and more scoring opportunities. Girls basketball moves to 25-1 overall and 4-0 in district 6-6A solidly in 1st place with the victory over Flower Mound 66-44. The score was close early ending the first quarter 11-13. By the end of a fast-paced competitive first half, the Cowgirls were up. Full court defense and solid three-point shooting opened the lead even more. Once the third ended they continued their streak with a score of 52-33. The Cowgirls finished off the game strong and controlled the clock well for the final win of 66-44.
