On November 3rd, nine of our fastest swimmers made the trip down to San Antonio for the David Johnson Fall classic, where 4a, 5a, and 6A schools all come together to compete in a two-day prelims/finals meet. Coppell swimmers had many time drops, and even took first overall in one of the events. Complete with ice baths and trading caps with other teams, this was the first fast mid-season meet, where our swimmers put on their technical racing suits to get everything out of their race. Competing schools included: Johnson HS, Winston Churchill HS, Ronald Reagan HS, San Antonio Clark, Louis D. Brandeis HS, The Woodlands College Park, Round Rock HS, and San Antonio O’Connor

Medley Relay for boys placed 8th overall in the 6A division
Jonathan Ting placed 5th and 8th overall in the 200 IM and 100 Fly respectively
Asher Johnson placed 1st overall in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:00.94 and had a 26.78 50 breaststroke split in the 8th overall 200 medley relay.
