The Boys Varsity Red Golf Team traveled to Lake Travis to participate in the Lake Travis Shootout on Monday and Tuesday. The tournament featured some of the state's top teams including the defending State Champion team from Austin Westlake along with 2022 State Qualifiers from San Antonio Johnson, Lake Travis, and Leander Vandergrift. The Cowboys team of Rithvik Shroff, Sam Perkins, Max Scott, Jacob Garcia and Rishab Shroff finished in 3rd place as a team with a two-day team score of 623 (305, 318), playing the Hills of Lakeway Country Club Live Oak course on day 1, and the very difficult Yaupon course on day 2. Austin Westlake's A team finished in 1st place with a two-day score of 597, and Austin Westlake's B team came in 2nd place with a two-day score of 614. Rithvik Shroff brought home the individual championship trophy after turning in a two-day total of 148 (73, 75).The Red Team will be on the course again on October 28 and October 29 in the Southlake 4 Ball Tournament at Tangle Ridge Golf Club
