Cowboys Drops Game To Plano West After Late Score
The Cowboys lost the lead late in a 5-4 defeat to Plano West on Tuesday. Plano West was down 4-3 in the top of the sixth inning when Raecek singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs. Moore got the win for Plano West. Moore surrendered four runs on five hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out seven. Spencer threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen. Chayton Krauss took the loss for the Cowboys. Krauss allowed eight hits and five runs over five and a third innings, striking out five.
Walker Polk, Tony Vernars, Tanner Sever, Bradley Castillo, and Will Rodman all had one hit to lead the Cowboys. Game 2 against Plano West is Friday, March 26, at 7:30 PM at Plano West Senior High School.
