Cowboys traveled to Marcus HS to battle Rockwall in the second game of the Classic Showcase and earn a well deserved draw. After a first half stalemate Rockwall opened the scoring with a goal off of a corner kick to make it 1-0. Cowboys fought the entire second half to try to earn a goal and kept coming up short. With 24 seconds left, Nicolas Radicic gets fouled in the box and earns his team a penatly kick with a chance to tie it up. Alex Salvo stepped up and buried it in the back of the net to earn the draw. Coppell will be back in action Saturday 1/16 vs Sam Houston at 10am at Marcus HS.
