Last district game before the winter break. The Cowgirls took on the Hawks of Hebron. India Howard was set to make her return this game and made a huge impact on the court. However, Waverly Hassman went down with a ankle injury during practice earlier in the day. Emma Sherrer took control of the Cowgirls offense in Waverly’s absence and kept the game close. Saiya Patel came in and gave a spark off the bench with 2 steals that led to 2 layups and cut the Hawk lead to 8 in the 4th quarter. Unfortunately, that was as close as the Cowgirls would get. Hawks take this one 52-39.
