Coppell Volleyball bounced back Friday night with a convincing 3-0 road win over Berkner, taking the match 25-8, 25-9, 25-9.
Brooke Felix led the Cowgirls with 11 kills, while Finley Penniman added nine kills. Addi Howard served six aces, and Zoey Ponsen finished with 31 assists and five kills.
Alondra Duarte also saw her first playing time of the season and made an immediate impact with two kills and one block.
The win moved Coppell to 14-7 overall and 3-1 in District 7-6A play.
The JV team won 2-0, 25-16 and 25-13. The 9A team also swept Berkner, 25-15 and 25-8. No 9B match was played.
