Coppell Boys Golf’s Varsity Red team placed 24th out of 52 teams at the Bart Granger Tournament at Pecan Valley Golf Club.

The Cowboys posted a two-day team score of 619, shooting 313 in the opening round before improving to 306 in the second round.

Jack Patton, Charlie Sauer and Nicolas Brown led Coppell, each finishing with a two-day score of 153. The trio tied for 87th place in a field of 258 individual golfers.

Kyler Hickman and Gabe Gilbert also competed for the Varsity Red team.

Coppell Varsity Red returns to competition Oct. 30-31 at the Annual 4-Ball Tournament at Westridge Golf Club in McKinney.
