Coppell Tennis remained unbeaten Tuesday with a 13-6 home victory over Plano West at the Coppell High School Tennis Courts.

The win moved Coppell to 13-0 on the season and, according to the team, marked the program’s first victory over Plano West after a series of previous losses.

Ethan Yang delivered a 6-1, 6-1 singles win, while Varsha Sivaprasad did not drop a game in a 6-0, 6-0 victory.

Palkin Gangwal added a 6-0, 6-3 win for Coppell. Abhijay Mantena battled through a three-set match, recovering from a 6-1 opening-set loss to win 6-3 before taking the deciding tiebreaker 10-8.

With the 13-6 victory, Coppell continued its undefeated start and added one of the program’s most significant wins of the season.
