The Coppell Cowgirls delivered a statement performance Friday, sweeping all three duals at a home quad meet with decisive wins over Wolfforth Frenship, Haltom City, and Lewisville Marcus.
Coppell opened the night with a 58–18 victory over Wolfforth Frenship, setting the tone early with strong performances throughout the lineup. The Cowgirls steadily built separation on the scoreboard behind controlled wins and bonus-point finishes, establishing momentum that carried through the remainder of the quad.
That momentum continued in the second dual, as Coppell dominated Haltom City, 72–12. The Cowgirls recorded pins in nearly every contested bout, many coming in the first period, and showcased their depth from the middle to upper weights. Elizabeth Cummings (125) and Isabella Malcolm (135) both secured quick falls, while Elizabeth Urick (155) and Binitta Nitto (170) added decisive pins to keep Coppell firmly in control.
Coppell closed the quad in emphatic fashion with a 75–6 win over Lewisville Marcus. The Cowgirls capitalized on quick finishes and forfeits, controlling the dual from the opening whistle. Hailey Kennedy (120) and Elizabeth Cummings (125) earned rapid falls, while Victoria Quintero (190) anchored the lineup with another dominant win to cap the sweep.
Across all three duals, Coppell showcased balance across weight classes, strong conditioning, and an ability to finish matches early. Wrestlers such as Malcolm, Urick, Nitto, and Quintero consistently produced bonus points, while Kennedy and Cummings helped Coppell jump out to early leads in multiple duals.
