The Coppell Cowboys wanted to extend their win streak to 2 games. On a beautiful day the Coppell Cowboys faced off against the Plano West Wolves. The game was a thriller from start to finish, both teams created a lot of goalscoring opportunities in both the first and second halves.

The first half of the game was very evenly matched. Both teams were able to possess the ball well and create good opportunities to score. But all in all Coppell had the upper hand on the Plano West Wolves.

Going into halftime both teams were exhausted and bruised up. This game being senior night for Plano West and being a crucial game for both teams to keep playoff hopes alive, both teams were playing at their fullest and giving it everything they had on the field.

Starting the second half Coppell continued to have a slight advantage over the Wolves, by creating a lot more goalscoring opportunities and possessing the ball a lot more. Towards the end of the game Coppell had full domination of the game, on a build up play from the Cowboys Sam Stone was able to find Caden Naef out wide. Caden was able to dribble the ball to the top of the box, where he successfully drew the foul for a penalty. Sam lined up to take the pen, even though his first shot got saved by the keeper Sam was there to tap in his own rebound.

After a dominating second half by the Cowboys they were able to win the game 1-0. Those 3 points they earned tonight were very valuable to their hopes of a number 1 spot in district. The Coppell Cowboys will look to extend their winning streak against Lewisville at home on Friday.
