The cowgirls had a bit of a rough start during the first half even though many plays were made to goal. With a 0-2 score in the first half with Plano East in the lead, the cowgirls began to push themselves even harder to get on the board. To their favor, Neerali Kapadia sent in a ball right in front of the goal for Sadie Ozymy to finish, making the score 1-2. One of Cowgirl’s captain, Monica Morales continued to push her teammates and kept the momentum of the game going. This led to another goal with a corner kick from Claire Pafford that came off the keeper which then Neerali finished the ball in the bottom left corner. Time was cutting close and the Cowgirls had many chances on goal that they worked so hard for, but in the end the score remained 2-2 tie.
