Your Cowgirls took first place in the 18 team Coyote Classic this past Saturday at Frisco Heritage High School.
The team got wins out of every wrestler to help secure the victory.
The team was led by three champions: Senior, Maria Husain who remained undefeated on the season, Junior Scout Carrell, and Freshman Annie Lopez, who won her first varsity tournament.
The team also got placement points for Kylie Fowler, Tucker Sparks, and Cassie Bonacci.
The team got additional wins and points from Karissa Godhia, Sarah Valadez, Araceli Reynoso, and Jessica Mendez-Gil.
