Senior Maria Husain took home the championship in the prestigious Texas Womens Classic this past Saturday at Lewisville HS.
Husain pinned her opponent for the victory and remains undefeated on the year. Scout Carrell finished top 6. Karissa Godhia won the blue division and Araceli Reynosa was third.
The team competes next at the Santa Slam in the Arena next Friday and Saturday. The Santa Slam is also a collection point for the teams Coat Drive. Please donate any new or gently used warm clothing or blankets.
