Cowboys were able to improve to 4-1 in district play Tuesday night with a win over Lewisville. The win keeps the Cowboys tied with Marcus and Plano for first place in district 6-6a.
The Cowboys opened the scoring just moments into the game with a goal from Ale Reyes off a Walker Stone corner kick. A second goal came a few minutes later but was called back for a foul on Sebastian Flores for running into the GK. The score remained 1-0 at half with both teams generating opportunities on goal. Cowboys were able to double their lead in the second half with another Walker Stone Corner kick, this time finding Alex Salvo. With just a minute left in the game Preston Taylor, on another corner kick, found Ilhan Muslija to make it 3-0. Cowboys will look continue their winning streak when the weather improves sometime next week!
