The #6 ranked team in the state came to visit the Cowgirls over the holiday break and after a horrendous foul call was made that ultimately cost the Cowgirls’ JV team in a wild finish the Friars weren’t done getting their prayers answered. A uncharacteristically bad shooting game from key Cowgirls’ made for a tough slug it out game as Waverly Hassman chipped in 11 points followed by Jules LaMendola and India Howard with 8 each. You know what they say “If you’ve never fallen off a horse, you haven’t been riding long enough” this young Cowgirls team looks to rebound on 12/30 vs Boyd High School.
