Cowgirls bring home another district win with a score of 8-1 against Lewisville. The first few minutes of the game was a surprise to the Cowgirls which Lewisville scored one. But immediately, the Cowgirls came back with a goal by Neerali Kapadia dribbling through the whole back line. Minutes later, Neerali found herself with a great ball sent by Mia Brasseaux and put the ball in the back of the net for 2-1 lead. The Cowgirls possessed the ball for most of the game which led to 2 more goals by Summer Chen sending the ball precisely in the corner from a distance. After that, to keep the game going, Sadie got a chance at goal and put the ball away from the keeper right into the net. The Cowgirls didn’t stop there, Bella McGill sent a nice ball straight to Reagan Roberson who then put the ball in its place. A bit later, Reagan was met with a one v one with the goalie and she slipped the ball into the goal. And Lastly, just before the buzzer, one more goal was added by Claire Pafford with an assist from Mia Brasseaux. The Cowgirls controlled most of the game and didn’t let the ball into their own half thanks to defenders Monica Morales, Tatum Escobar, Kayleigh St. Peter, and Miranda Hickey.
