Coppell HS hosted a four game showcase this past Friday, presented by "The Battle." Amongst the games, was a rare opportunity for the Cowboys to participate and play on a national stage. The game was broadcast on the NBC Sports Network.

The Cowboys were matched up with a new brand new prep school out of North Carolina, Vertical Academy.

Although proving they were a formidable opponent, the Cowboys fell short to Vertical, 65-73.

Ryan Agarwal led the way for the Cowboys with 20 points and 8 rebounds, while Naz Brown added 18 points in his return from injury.

Devank Rane just missed double figures with 9 points, but added 7 assists, a career high, in the effort.

The Cowboys are back in action today, at Mansfield Legacy vs JJ Pearce, at 4pm.
