Coppell girls soccer delivered a composed and disciplined performance Friday night, defeating Flower Mound 2–0 at Buddy Echols Field during Youth Night. We celebrated Neerali's 100th varsity start.

The match opened with strong energy from both teams. The Cowgirls broke through with the first goal on a penalty kick from Eme, calmly converting the opportunity to give Coppell a 1–0 lead. The defense held firm throughout the night, with goalkeeper Kylie securing the shutout behind a steady back line.

The weather quickly became part of the story. Lightning in the area forced a delay during the first half, pausing play and sending both teams to the locker room. When the game resumed, Coppell returned focused and in control.

Coppell added insurance later in the match when Neerali found the net, pushing the lead to 2–0 and sealing the victory. Allison contributed an assist in the win.

With the result, the Cowgirls move to 2–0 in district play, continuing to build momentum as the postseason approaches.

The night also celebrated the next generation of Coppell soccer during Youth Night, as young players from the community filled the stands and lined the field to cheer on the Cowgirls.

This was the last home game of district play. The last district away game is March 13th, 7:30 PM, at Marcus HS
