At the first District game of the year, the JV Cowgirls battled it out against the JV Hawks but ultimately fell short.

At the mound, both Laycee Olds and Lilienne Clair each got 3 strikeouts. Behind the plate was Kaykay Rice, who caught a foul pop-up, gaining another out for the Cowgirls. The most active on the field was Ananya Bharath, who made 2 great plays at 3rd. Batting was pretty uneventful, with mostly walks. But a few notable strong singles were hit by Vi Tran and Ananya Bharath.
