During this tournament, JV played 4 games. Even though not all of them had the outcome they wanted, JV really worked with what they had to play their best. And, we had fun while doing so.

Defensively, the Cowgirls made some great plays and crazy catches. During the first 2 games, Caroline Campbell made 8 outs at shortstop. While pitching in games 1 and 3, Laycee Olds had 7 strikeouts, while Lilienne Clair had 8 during her time at the mound. In the outfield, we had multiple great snags, notably by Sanvi Porumalla in leftfield. At the plate, JV really showed up. Our best hitters this tourney were Medha Vadyala, who had an in-the-park home run during game 1, and Reagan Manchester with two triples during games 3 and 4.

The wind was no one’s friend this tournament, and certainly didn’t help anyone with pop-ups and fouls.
