In their first game of the Allen Varsity Tournament, the Cowgirls defeated the Plano Wildcats with a score of 21-4.

Madison Scott led the Cowgirls by bringing in seven runs by hitting two out-of-the-park bombs! The Cowgirls scored 13 runs in the third inning with great hits by Cecelia Bourque (double and single), Claire Keith (two doubles), Madison Scott (two homers), Courtney Hargrove (single), and Emma Praytor (single). Scarlett Stephens earned the win for the Cowgirls in the circle. Overall, all of the Cowgirls brought a fierce energy and great plays to contribute to this win.

This was their first game of the tournament. The Cowgirls play again at 11:00 am today, 5:00 and 7:00 pm tomorrow, and 1:00 pm on Saturday.
