Coppell Girls Soccer picked up a hard-fought 3–2 win over Hebron on January 20, rallying after a difficult first half and closing strong down the stretch.
Hebron struck twice before the break, sending Coppell into halftime trailing 2–1. Despite the deficit, the Cowgirls stayed composed and adjusted their tempo in the second half, controlling possession and applying steady pressure in the attacking third.
The response paid off. Coppell shut out Hebron after halftime and scored two unanswered goals to flip the match. Logan, Jaehee, and Eme each found the back of the net, while Lydia, Neerali, and Logan contributed assists that helped unlock the defense.
With several key players unavailable, including Lainey, Addison, Esha, and Leonna, Coppell relied on depth and discipline to finish the match. Adwitha Challa played an impactful role, recording a goal after halftime and helping maintain attacking momentum as Coppell pushed for the winner.
The comeback win highlighted Coppell’s resilience and ability to adapt under pressure, turning an early challenge into a complete team result.
