The Coppell Cowboys put together an impressive weekend at the Jack Frost Invitational, finishing as the tournament runner-up after a strong showing against a competitive field.
Coppell wrapped up a competitive run at the Jack Frost Invitational, earning a runner-up finish after falling 58-67 to Denton Guyer in the championship game. The Cowboys battled to the final buzzer against the eventual tournament champions, against one of the top programs in the region. Throughout the multi-day event, Coppell’s balanced scoring, defensive pressure, and relentless energy were on full display as the team tested itself against elite competition.
Individual recognition followed the team success as #3 Sibu Socks and #2 Isaiah Fleming were each named to the Jack Frost All-Tournament Team for their standout performances. Both players provided key scoring bursts, locked-in defense, and steady leadership that helped push Coppell through a strong tournament run.
The Cowboys now turn their focus to district preparation, carrying forward the confidence and experience gained at Jack Frost as the season’s intensity continues to rise.
