The game against Irving High School Boys Soccer was scheduled for an 8:00 PM kickoff. The boys finally took to the field at 10 pm, after a 2-hour lightning storm.

Irving started the game off strong. As the game went down to 1-0, Irving scored. Coppell's Luis Mendez Gil strikes up to 1-1 soon to start at the other half. Irving bangs in 2 goals, leading the game 3-1, with 30 minutes left in the half. The game started again, and Coppell slowly put their heads down. But there still was some light in the dark as Luis scored one more. Liam Spiller received the ball up top, and with a wonderful touch, he played it into Brooks Kaiser. That brought the score to 3-3.

We were down 2 goals with 15 minutes left in the game. We tied again 3-3 to win in penalties again! We scored 3 kicks to their 1. Our goals were scored by McGill, Mendez Gil, and Kaiser.

Overtime again! Soon after, a long extra time battle ended it in penalties. Chase Anderson saved our team blocks two of their shots. And Caden Naef ended it with his penalty for a win for Coppell.
