Coppell Tennis Finishes Preseason Undefeated at 5-0

Coppell Tennis closed out preseason play with an 11-8 victory over Flower Mound on August 11 at the Coppell High School Tennis Center, completing an undefeated 5-0 preseason.

The Cowboys entered singles play trailing 4-3 after doubles, but strong performances throughout the singles lineup helped Coppell rally and secure the win.

Ivan Morales delivered a strong day for Coppell, earning a straight-set singles victory, 4-0, 4-2, after teaming with Sunny Tupurani for a 4-2, 4-2 doubles win.

Gloria Sun was also dominant, winning her singles match 4-0, 4-0. She and Varsha Sivaprasad combined for another convincing victory in doubles, 4-0, 4-0.

The victory gives Coppell a perfect 5-0 record heading out of preseason play.

JV Black fell to Flower Mound 11-8.
