The Coppell Cowboys baseball team opened the 2026 season dominantly, finishing undefeated through their first two tournaments and building a strong 9-0 start.
Coppell first captured the HEB Classic title with a perfect 5-0 record. The Cowboys opened the tournament with a 7-6 win over Duncanville, followed by an 8-0 shutout of LD Bell. Coppell continued its offensive momentum with a 9-4 win over Legacy and an 8-7 victory against Memorial before closing the tournament with a decisive 12-3 win over Heritage.
The Cowboys carried that momentum into the Northwest Tournament, where they went 4-0 to secure their second consecutive tournament championship. Coppell opened with an 8-0 win over Eaton, then defeated Memorial 4-3 and Northwest 6-3 before closing the tournament with a 3-2 victory over Midlothian.
With two tournament championships and a 9-0 record, Coppell enters district play riding strong momentum as the Cowboys look to continue their early-season success.
