The first quarter was tough with Ellison scoring first and taking the lead but Coppell turned it around and ended the quarter 14-12. In the second quarter both teams played well and the lead kept flipping but Coppell ended the half up 28-23 with a solid 3 at the end. The third and fourth quarter were similar and the game remained close with Coppell staying in the lead but Ellison put in the extra mile and got the lead ending the game 50-56. Ethan Macken led scorers with 23 points and was the top rebounder. Antonio Romo added the key offensive boards.
