The Coppell Cowgirls competed in the 6-A Region 1 Golf Championship this week, finishing in second place. This qualifies the Team for the Texas State Championship in Georgetown, May 8/9. This will be the third consecutive year the Cowgirls will be vying for the best in Texas Girls Golf. Only twelve teams get this opportunity in the largest school classification in our state! Alicia Bellendir finished in 7th place ( best score of any freshman) carding a 74/77
Kirstin Angosta finished in 8th place with scores of 75/78.
Both girls qualified as All Region Second team!
