Coppell and Plano East were playing it very close up until the end of the first half. The Cowgirls were only up by six. After the third quarter the Cowgirls were up 26-17, making the lead to Plano East much bigger than before the half. The game was very aggressive, and the Cowgirls had to play through adversity. But they were able to overcome it and win the game with a final score of 38-29. Waverly Hassman played well defensively and offensively. Londyn Harper’s defense was excellent throughout the whole game and this allowed the Cowgirls to create more opportunities on offense. Macey Mercer was able to open spaces and give her teammates more scoring opportunities on offense with her impressive dribbling skills.
