A solid win for varsity of 4-1. Cowgirls start off the game strong with a goal by Summer Chen in the first ten minutes behind the 18 yard line slipping the ball into the bottom right corner. A few minutes later into the first half, Neerali Kapadia had a speedy attempt at goal. It then rebounded off of the goalkeeper, and Mia Brasseaux ended the play with the finish for the second goal for the Cowgirls. Later, the second half started, and Plano West put the ball at the back of the net making the score 2-1. This didn’t let the Cowgirls down because right after, Sadie Ozymy chipped the ball right into to goal from afar. But she didn’t stop there, a few minutes later Sadie was at a 1v1 with the goalie and slipped another goal in even as she collided with the Plano West player. The four goals of Sadie Ozymy x2, Summer Chen, and Mia were assisted by Summer Chen, Tatum Escobar x2, and Neerali Kapadia Great defensive plays by Monica Morales and Tatum Escobar also noteworthy.
