The Cowgirls started off strong with more than a 15-point lead, but towards the end of the half the Cowgirls and Farmers were neck and neck. The atmosphere during the game, as well as halftime was energetic and cheerful from both teams stands. As the game came to a close the Cowgirls were able to pull away and win 56-42. Waverly Hassman played well both on and off the ball. She dominated on the floor by rebounding and with her pressured defense. Julianna Lamendola played well and got the Cowgirls to create a larger lead during the 3rd quarter.
