In the first quarter the Wolves were able to compete with the Cowgirls by taking advantage of the open shots given. The first ended with a score of 13-15, Plano West. The Cowgirls were able to lead in the first minute of the second quarter with two layups by Julianna LaMendola and a reverse layup by Ella Spiller. Spiller also played incredible defense and scored in tough situations. By the end of the first half, the Cowgirls were up 29-19. Allyssa Potter had many three’s in the third quarter increasing the Cowgirls lead. Waverly Hassman was able to score all on levels of the field as well as play pressures defense.The score at the end of the third was 49-28, Cowgirls. The Cowgirls finished off strong winning against the Wolves with a final score of 62-40.
