Throughout the game the Cowgirls were able to keep a consistent and strong lead. The first few minutes in the game the Cowgirls started off strong with a 15-point lead. While Byron Nelson was consistent at scoring, the Cowgirls managed to keep the lead high eventually downing Byron Nelson 73-51. Landry Sherrer started the game off well in the first quarter with 3 threes as well as a charge.
