District 2022 CHS Takes Third Place and Prepares for Regionals


LEWISVILLE – In the area beside lane one, in the corner adjacent to the bulkhead, the Coppell swim team cheered on its swimmers during the District 5-6A championships January 21st and 22nd at the Lewisville ISD Westside Aquatic Center.

By the end of the meet, Coppell saw all six relay teams and eight swimmers for 8 individual events advance to regionals, to be held at the same location in two weeks. The combined boys’ and girls’ teams took fourth place at the meet. Individually the boys team took the third-place trophy with 78 points and the girls took fifth with 49 points.
The next step is the Class 6A Region II Swimming and Diving Meet is Feb. 7th and 8th at LISD Westside Aquatic Center.

Sophomore – Annie Chang– 100-yard Breastroke (with a time of 107.41)
