The Cowgirls went to visit #15 ranked Plano for their district opener. The Wildcats were a favorite coming into this one but the Cowgirls had other plans.

Every gun sings to its own tune and tonight that tune was India Howard with a career high 29 points to lead all scorers while also holding The Wildcats best player to 14. Jules Lamedola chipped in 13, Allyssa Potter with 9, and Saiya Patel with her usual lock down defense for 32 minutes!

Brooks and Dunn said it best…Cowgirls don’t cry. Waverly Hassman took that to heart with a gutty performance playing not at 100% but still giving The Cowgirls a steady hand to help power them to 17-0 on the season and 1-0 in district.
