After beating Bryon Nelson 43-30 on Tuesday the Cowgirls saddled up and rode out to the 3rd Coast the next day. The Toast of The Coast tournament started with state ranked Aransas Pass which proved be Panthers with all teeth and no bite, Cowgirls win 52-23. Then for game 2 The Cowgirls called the bluff and went all in on Flour Bluff 48-23. Game 3 Austin Navarro quickly found themselves outmatched when all The Cowgirls scored in that contest for a final 78-8 to go 3-0 in pool play and quickly became the talk of the town for their stellar play.

Kerrville Tivy was first up in bracket play and had a lot of fight but eventually got worn down by The Cowgirls 47-29.

In the Championship Game The Cowgirls squared off vs The Hawks of Buda Hays. Being short handed in this one The Cowgirls came out saddles blazin’ forcing a quick timeout after a 10-0 run. Just like someone with a bee in their bonnet The Cowgirls ran away with this one 51-33 to win the championship and advancing to 16-0 on the season.
