The Cowboy tennis team secured their 3rd playoff victory in a row with a 10-5 win over district rival Marcus. Marcus entered the contest ranked #16 in the state. They also were victorious over Coppell in district play (10-9). But Coppell was able to exact revenge when it mattered most. The victory secured the team a spot in the regional semi-finals in Abilene.

The first time these teams met Marcus was able to secure a very close match in girls line one doubles. This time Lakshana Parasusaman and Nandini Thallapareddy secured the doubles victory for Coppell. With a 4-3 lead after doubles the singles players were able to cruise to victory. The Cowboys will face Southlake in Abilene Thursday at 1pm.
