Coppell boys defeated Flower Mound Marcus last night 58-54 in a district showdown for first place. The #24 state ranked Marauders & #25 ranked Cowboys matchup lived up to the hype.

Anthony Black led the way for the Cowboys with a season high 23 points, while Naz Brown and Ryan Agarwal scored 16 & 15, respectively.

Marcus was led by Nick Donnelly who poured on 31 points, including 15 in the 4th quarter.

The win leaves the Cowboys in sole possession atop district 6-6A with 6 games remaining.

Coppell is back in action Tuesday, 1/26, hosting the Hebron Hawks. Varsity game is scheduled for 8pm.
