Not only did boy's basketball open the season in new threads, but they also added some style points to the scoreboard.

Coppell Boy's Basketball hosted Richland Saturday afternoon for the season opener. After a slow start, the Cowboys got to work on the offensive end, scoring 74 points for the game, and holding Richland to only 49.

The Cowboys were led by a trio of junior guards in the scoring column. Ryan Agarwal led the way with 20 points, while Nazir Brown and Anthony Black chipped in 18 and 15, respectively.

After the game, Coach Schnell said, "I'm happy our guys got to get out here and compete today. Nothing is guaranteed. We'll take the win, but it shows us we got a lot to work on. Today was a good first step."

The Cowboys are back in action on Tuesday, 11/24, 3pm, versus Rockwall Heath at Home.
