On Thursday, Emery Darrow broke the 11-dive record at the 1m 11-dive event, securing a gold medal and the District Diver of the Year award as well, and earning Coach Jon theDistrict Coach of the Year award. On Friday, Swim advanced 5 boys and 7 girls to Regionals as Gabe Campos took home District Swimmer of the Year, and the girls team fought hard to win their 4th runner-up trophy in a row.

We competed with District 6-6A: Marcus, Flower Mound, Lewisville, Plano, Plano East, Plano West at Westside Aquatic Center.

Girls placed 2nd overall
Boys placed 5th overall

Leading athletes were:
Gabriel Campos, with two individual golds, one relay silver, and one bronze.
Alice Lu, 2 individual silvers and two relay silvers.

The boys team was set to finish 3rd overall and bring home another trophy, but a false start in the final relay cost them 6 points, which was enough to drop them down to 5th despite their outstanding performance.
