This Thursday, the JV Cowgirls competed at the Haltom District Warm-Up Meet. With only one week until district, the Cowgirls are running some of their best times of the season. The Cowgirls dominated the meet, placing 1st overall as a team with Freshmen Laurel Storey and Sophia Sarmiento individually coming in 1st place with a time of 23.18, and 2nd place at 23.53, respectively. All JV girl runners placed in the top 20. The Cowgirls showed off their hard work this week, and continue to prepare for the District meet to qualify for regionals.

This Thursday, the Coppell Cowboys competed at the Haltom District Warm-Up Meet, just one week away from district. The Varsity boys took 1st place as a team, with standout performances from Rodrigo Abrego (12th), Vihaan Sharma (28th), Lukas Stumm (29th), Abishek Suresh (30th), and Rigved Nehere (35th) leading the way. In the JV division, the Cowboys finished 3rd overall, highlighted by Ansh Patel in 6th place, Aaron Joseph in 10th, and Dee Raibourn in 13th. With multiple runners in the top 25, Coppell showed strong depth and continued to sharpen up as they prepare for next week’s district meet.
