The Rangers hosted an invitational relay-only meet last Saturday, marking the official opening of the Cowboys' 2025/26 season. Coppell brought enough swimmers for two full teams and made some statement swims at the sold-out natatorium.

The meet was located at the David A. Segal Family Aquatic Center in Dallas. The original location, SMU, had some parking issues, so the meet was relocated to Jesuit's pool last minute. A much smaller facility, it became a cauldron of noise during every race because it was packed and sold out

Opponents: Allen, Jesuit/Ursuline, Plano East, JJ Pearce, Plano West, Plano Senior, Bishop Lynch, Southlake, & Bryan Adams.

Outcome: 6th (Coppell Red), 12th (Coppell Black) out of 16 total teams

Abhinav Agnihotri, Jack Parshall, and Idin Feizollahi all managed two third-place and one second-place finish. Alice Lu, Emma Wei, Gabriella Pardo, and Anika Baindur swam together multiple times, a combination that may become this year's District A relay
