The Coppell Cowgirls kicked off the season with a 2-mile race this Friday at the Hebron Friday Night Hawk Invite in Carrollton. Runners from JV to Varsity Elite competed against teams including Hebron, McKinney Boyd, and Arlington Martin. JV Girls came in 8th place with a notable performance from Freshman Charlotte Baade, who placed 9th with a time of 14:12. Varsity girls placed 9th, with Freshman Hannah Stumm leading Coppell with a time of 14:19. Varsity Elite girls finished in 4th place, with Junior Maya Easterwood crushing the competition, placing 1st with a time of 10:41. Congrats to the Cowgirls on a great first meet, and many more to come!

Vihaan Shani won JV Boys. Diego Morales, Tanish Neelapu, and Sam Meier all finished in the top ten for Elite Varsity Boys, leading Coppell to impressive team results across the board.
