The Cowboys took Game 2 from Denton Braswell on Friday night behind another dominant pitching performance, 1-0! Jackson Floren continued his run of outstanding starts, picking up the win going 5 and 2/3 innings, striking out 9, and holding the Bengals to 2 hits. Reliever Aaron Malick went the final 1 and 1/3 innings, striking out 2 while not allowing a baserunner to pick up the save. Riley Bishop led the Cowboys' offense, going 2 for 3 with a double.

The Cowboys will be back in action on Saturday for Senior Day as they host the Jesuit Rangers for a 12:30 non-district game. Pregame activities begin at 12 PM.
