The Cowgirls had a great day 2 of Turf Wars! In the first game against the CHHS Panthers, Coppell took the lead, 4-3, in the bottom of the fourth thanks to singles by Emma Praytor, Carly Mayer, and Courtney Hargrove. The Cowgirls amassed 10 hits in the game. Mayer led the Coppell Cowgirls with two runs, battled in from the number eight spot in the lineup. The Cowgirls were strong both offensively and defensively against the Panthers. Game 1 final score was a win, 5-3

In the second game against the Trinity Trojans, Kimber Kerrigan drove in five runs on three hits to lead the Cowgirls past the Trojans 8-4. The Cowgirls got on the board in the second inning after Claire Keith singled, scoring one run. The Cowgirls collected 10 hits in the game. Coppell had great defense and was smart when making plays.

The day's top players were Kimber Kerrigan, Lily Bowen, and Madi Scott. Carly Mayer also pitched a complete game win!
