The Coppell Cowgirls beat Lone Star Rangers 10-5 on Saturday. The Cowgirls got on the board in the top of the first inning after Nevaeh Carter doubled. She scored one run. Emma Praytor singled, scoring one run. And, Kimber Kerrigan homered, scoring two runs. A single by Cecilia Bourque extended the Cowgirls lead to 5-0 in the top of the second. The girls accumulated a total of 13 hits in the game. Overall, the team had patience at the plate and didn't make a single error in the field.
Kimber Kerrigan went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with three runs battled in. Emma Praytor led the Coppell Cowgirls with three hits in four at bats. CiCi Bourque, Nevaeh Carter, and Madi Scott each collected multiple hits for the Cowgirls.
